Stories – From Head to Heart, Instantly.

Instead of long verbose explanations, I prefer to use contrasts, analogies, metaphors, and micro stories to drive my point home.

Not only do these tools make the message clearer and easier to grasp, they also make it more memorable, relatable and impactful. People may forget facts, but they rarely forget a striking contrast, a clever metaphor, or a story that touched them.

Such tools simplify complex ideas, spark curiosity, and connect with both the mind and the heart — making the learning last.

Sharing some stories I use in my sessions. See what insights you can uncover for yourself.

* The Mirror of Life

A man looked into a mirror and was disappointed by his reflection. He told his wife, "I don’t like what I see." His wife replied, "Look deeper, and you’ll realise what great strengths you really have."

* The Empty Cup

A wise teacher served tea to his student. He poured the tea into the cup until it overflowed. “Stop! The cup is full!” exclaimed the student. “So are you, “ replied the teacher, “If you want to learn something new, first unlearn what you already know. Get rid of all your assumptions, opinions and preconceptions.”

* The Eagle Who Forgot To Fly

A lazy young eagle once saw another eagle soaring high above in the sky. “I wish I could do that”, he commented wistfully. “You can”, replied an elder eagle, “But first you have to believe”.

* The Bamboo and the Oak

A mighty oak tree once boasted to the bamboo tree, "I am big, strong, unshakable, you’re so puny.” In the next storm, the mighty oak was toppled, but the bamboo survived.

* The Lumberjack’s Axe

Two lumberjacks started cutting trees. One paused every hour to sharpen his axe, while the other kept swinging nonstop. By evening, the first had cut more trees.

Facts inform, stories transform.
