* The Bamboo and the Oak
A mighty oak tree once asked a bamboo, "Why do you bend in the wind, while I stand strong?" The bamboo replied, "I bend because I know the storm will pass, and I will stand tall again." The oak was toppled in the storm, but the bamboo survived.
* The Mirror of Life
A man looked into a mirror and was disappointed by his reflection. He asked a wise old woman, "Why do I look so unfulfilled?" She replied, "Because you’re only looking at the surface. Look deeper, and you’ll find the strength you’ve always had."
* The Stone Carver
A stone carver was chiseling a block of stone, and someone asked, “How do you know what to carve?” The carver replied, “I don’t carve the stone; I reveal what’s already inside it.”
* The Empty Cup
A wise teacher served tea to his student. He poured the tea into the cup until it overflowed. The student exclaimed, “Stop! The cup is full!” The teacher said, “Like this cup, you are full of opinions and preconceptions. To learn, you must first empty yourself.”
* The Wisdom of the River
A young man asked an elder, “How do I find wisdom?” The elder pointed to a river flowing peacefully. “Wisdom is like the river,” said the elder. “It moves slowly, but it wears away the hardest stone.”
* The Invisible Thread
A mother told her child, “There is an invisible thread that connects all living things.” The child asked, “How do we see it?” The mother replied, “We see it in kindness, in love, and in every act of compassion.”
* The Unfinished Bridge
A man walked across an unfinished bridge. His friend said, “Why are you crossing it before it’s finished?” The man smiled and said, “Sometimes, you have to take a step forward, even before you know where the path leads.”
* The Broken Wing
A bird with a broken wing sat on the ground, feeling hopeless. A kind person approached and said, “You will fly again soon.” The bird replied, “But my wing is broken.” The person smiled, “Even broken wings can heal, and sometimes, they make you soar higher.”
Wisdom and strength comes from self-reflection, patience, and understanding the deeper meanings of life’s experiences.
Go be Wise.
