As is the organisation we work in; enter through HR but work in different departments.
As is our family; born to the same parents but with different attitude, thinking, behaviour, goals, paths, etc.
As is our friend circle; meet new friends through common friends.
And yet, instead of bees, we tend to behave like locusts - using, ravaging and destroying for our own narrow selfish gains with no consideration for others or the community.
Every bee in the hive knows its job, does its job and trusts other bees to do their job too. There’s no interfering, interrupting or even impeding, nor is there any mismanagement, noncompliance or factionalism; instead, they work with unity, cohesion and harmony. They respect differences, value DE&I and collaborate so effectively that the output of their combined efforts is always sweet
Icing on the cake, they are an asset to the outside community and environment at large, spreading joy & prosperity through their CSR activities - pollination.
No small wonder that in many religions bees are considered as symbols of good luck, prosperity, wealth and spiritual upliftment.
Time we shed our locust mentality and be the BEE.
